Summer Learning Journey - Activity 82- Ice Art - Step it up

 Hey bloggers,

For this step it up activity we were meant to create another ice art project but we had to use the rule of third and the rules of odds. We had to use the rule of third which is a photograph that has an equal grid of 3. This step it up task was very hard to understand. I used the best of my initiative to try get this activity right.

Here it is.

Hope you like it.

Bye.

  1. Kia Ora Asmah,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the summer learning journey.

It is great to hear that you used perseverance and initiative when you found the activity difficult to understand, those are some brilliant skills to have such a good job!!

Again, I think your art looks amazing, I love the different objects and colours you have used.

I would like to know what you learnt from this activity?

Keep up the good work and I hope to see more of your posts during the Summer Learning Journey!!

    Ngā mihi nui,

  2. Kia ora Asmah. Ka pai for sticking with a challenging activity. It looks great! Do you mean that you had to place the flowers in certain thirds of the water? If so that sounds tricky!

  3. Kia ora Asmah!

I think by using your initiative you have successfully worked out photographing using the rule of thirds! Your ice art is off centre to the left and is sitting more on the imaginary lines of the upper left square - well done! I really like how you have positioned the art so the serrated (jagged edge), of what looks like a pine needle, is in contrast to the lovely pink smooth flower! It gives texture to your design. I can imagine having one of these on my desk as a paper weight, if it was made out of material like resin (similar to the Russian artist in the article!).

I am very impressed that you chose to complete the Step Up activity as few of the bloggers got this far.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Nga mihi nui
