Lockdown

 Hey bloggers,

Today is the second day of lockdown (in the morning) and I want to share what I did yesterday. Yesterday what I did in the morning was watching tv with my family, after that my mum and dad went on there phones and my siblings watched with them. I did not want to watch them, so instead I did my hobbie I was drawing, soon then my little sister joined me. I looked at a picture on google on my chromebook and tried drawing it. It turned out good but the thing was it did not look the exact same. Then my hands got tired, and I watched with my mum. Later on my mum was on a call so then  my sister was hungry she got herself a bar and then she found marshmallows, she asked my mum quietly if we could have some my mum nodded her head yes. we had none because my mums was finished her call and she went up to the stove andon it I knew what she was doing we were having roasted marshmallows but my marshmallow went on fire THREE TIMES.But I loved it the crisps on the outside and the gooey goodness on the inside. then I went back to drawing and kinda drawn the same thing but they looked different.

Monarch show

Today I am going to share about what happened at the Monarch show

  The Monarch show On Tuesday, we went to the hall and boom the monarch show. The Monarch show is all about butterflies.

There was a girl called Leah and her grandma. Leah was writing in her book for a speech at school. She went to her

grandma’s house so that

she could get inspiration from butterflies. Her grandma’s house had butterflies all around her house. Leah did not want

to go to her own house because

she had to look after her siblings. Leah was outside her house and her grandma was inside. Then her grandma went outside and dressed up as a bee.

She was quite annoying.

Then Leah’s grandma

went inside and back out as her normal self. Leah went inside and dressed up as a workman. Her name for this is Mrs

collywood.

She was also annoying. Then she said that she is going to create a tunnel right in the butterfly's home. The grandma

was trying to stop her.

Leah’s grandma could not make it to the court and asked Leah to do it instead. Leah was scared

and was shy. She ran to the audience until the owner

of the court said we are going to build a tunnel right where the butterflies lived.

Leah stood up and read her speech, but the owner said she did not have

permission. Leah did not care and then when she was finished the owner said that there was not going to be a

tunnel in the butterfly's home.

Maui and the giant fish

Today I will tell you the story about the giant fish. 

1.Maui dreamt of being a fishman and asked his brothers can I come fishing with you. The brothers would always make excuses and would say "you are to young .

 2.The oldest brother would say "your too skinny" and laugh

3. maui had a plan and catched the biggest fish ever.

The lions cage silent movie

Today I watched a silent movie and I am going to share with you guys . So what happened in the movie was the was a guy being chased by a horse and accidently ran into a lions cage and saw the lion and then he put his hand through the bars and tried to unlock the door but the door was already unlocked and instead he locked it he pushed the door and then he knew that it was locked. He tried not to wake up the lion he saw a little door and opened it there was a awake tiger so he closed the door. Then he tipped water on the floor.

There was a dog barking at the guy. The guy was afraid that the lion might wake up. The guy kicked the dog away but the dog got stuck on his foot. And there was a lady the guy told the lady about the lion and the lady fainted. after about one minute the lady woke up and was lettin the man mgo but the man   was not coming  and woke up the lion  roared at him and then the man ran out on to a pole. Bye everyone.

2020 tokyo olympics fanzone

Today all the seniors went to 2020 tokyo olympics fanzone. We got wristbands just before we entered. When we entered debbie tanner and the host was talking to us. It was really fun there there was games like really cool games the best game I played was a game that I don't know the name of but I will explain how it works.  the floor has a sticker with a foot sign you have to stand on the sticker and there is a tv in front of you and people coming from both sides you turn to a side and kick the people sadly the staff said that there is no punching. but it was still so much fun then we switched sides with another school and then we were at the well I guest I will call it the kid's olympics. There was a game with a tennis racket a badminton ball and a bucket. There was more games. We got these cards you open it up and there is questions.

A K holidays T2

Today I will be sharing what I did in the holidays. During the holidays my aunty cousins and I went to the swimming pool (at around 6:30). We met friends from my cousins and sisters school. The name of the school is Zayed College only for girls. The names of my cousins are Khadija Jawaryah Ruwaydah and Fatimah and the name of my sister is Marwah. We laughed and swam. After we swam and played in the pool we... went to the market not normal markets we went to THE NIGHT MARKET. My aunty said when you have days of school and mosque on Fridays we can go to the pools and the night market. I was so excited for the next holiday. Soon we left the market and went to... my grandma's house even though my grandma, grandpa and my uncle went to afghanistan for my uncles wedding. When my cousins and I went swimming my mum and brother were at home with people that my mum knows and I don’t do you know why people came over? It is because on Eid/Eed most people make food and invite people over to eat.

On wednesday and tuesday my class and I had bike training. On tuesday I said that I do not know how to ride a bike and I tried and tried but I still did not know how to ride a bike at last I started pedaling but it was hard to start.  Then on wednesday it started of hard but then... I KNEW HOW TO PEDAL even my friend Hafsa knew how to ride it was just so fun and on thursday night I asked my mum can I please have a bike even my brother asked so then my mum looked on trade me and SHE BOUGHT ME AND MY BROTHER A BIKE we did not get it yet but we might get it soon. 

sadly we did not get it because the places were to far.

QIZZLE HAMISH'S BIRTHDAY!

A few weeks ago it was Hamish's birthday. If you are wondering who is Hamish? Hamish is a animated character from Qizzle. On his birthday we sang him a happy birthday song in sign language and we won stationery. I will show you a picture of it. when the stationary box we got coloured pencils, paint a book paper, felt tips and a cute squishy thing and a few other things. Here is a picture. Hope you enjoyed.

final blast of (wonder project)

Today it was our final blast of! I had lodes of fun. my group was so close to winning, my group and another group got the same length it was 27.30 they got exactly the same. there was a group who won  got 37.60 m and it was sad because we thought that we were going to win. we put flags to show the length. Thanks to Mrs Eagalson a room 9 teacher that also teaches year six's and is a senior teacher which teaches year fours, fives and sixes. The winner was the group called 5 missioners.

 Assalamu alaikum bloggers,

Today we won subway for filling out a survey. It was about the community and what changes they could make, some people said they want a rollercoaster. Are you wondering what was in the subway pack there was a sandwich drink bottle and a cookie people said that they don't like tomatoes but I said it was the best part. Wonder project

On Tuesday we finished of our rockets, my group and I are finishing of our rockets. My group and I are going to finish our rocket at lunch time. we were going to make a parachute but I realised that I did not have a needle so we did not make a parachute. I'd have to say that our rocket was amazing. Sadly we lost our clay so our top point would be a little bit light and we wanted it to be heavy. The reason we did not have clay was because somebody stole it I had a suspicious because that person had lot's of clay, we put hot glue on the lid so it is heavy I still don't know if the the rocket will go up or down.

paper origami

Today I made an origami pop it,  sorry my little sister broke mine so I will show you a picture on the internet. I only needed a piece of red paper and strength from my hands so I can fold the paper. It was easy and my friends Wynette and Hafsa helped me with the last bit. It was not the big pop its it was one pop it i will show you in an image I watched the video on youtube at school. Wonder project

On tuesday 8/6/21  my group and I test launched our rocket it did not go that far but I still love our rocket. It was fun making our rocket and when we were test flying our rocket I was videotaping, me and the 1 engineer was going to swap but we only had one turn my video came out a little bad because the case of the ipad kind of covered the camera. We all had jobs, I was the videographer, Alisi was the safety officer, Flo was the statistician, Emricko was engineer 1 and Aice was engineer 2. my group and I put 250m and 60psi. we wore funny glasses and vests I did not because I was away from the rocket. In another class I saw a group with a very good nose cone it was amazing. Bye

Wonder project

 Today my group and I were making our rocket we finished first we use cardboard for is the fins of course we used a bottle for the rocket but the most exciting part was putting the string on exciting part because we all got to spin it around our heads it felt like we were planets and the rocket was flying around us. I was amazed that we were the first ones finished but here is one more thing to complete it is the test flying witch  i do not know if that is going to go well. Well I guess i'm gonna find out soon.

Food for thought

My class and I have been learning about how much sugar is in cereal boxes and drinks, and how to read the different numbers on the back of bottles and cereal boxes. We were also taught about sometimes food and everyday food. You're probably wondering who taught us, Isabel from the Heart foundation. She is our Food for thought teacher. She taught us about grain foods, fruit and vegetables, milk and milk products, protein food, oil (fat) sugar and salt. She is the best Food for thought teacher ever, I loved Food for thought sessions. (Plus we are so lucky to have her here at Hay Park school)

               

                                          

Tane mahuta

last week my class and I made a Tane Mahuta forest on google drawings. I think my one looks cool because the purple sky was mixed with blue white pink and purple. I added small trees and of course Tane Mahuta I also added the Matariki stars.  A person put volcanoes and said it was from there imagination, they also added a gif purple star and if you are wondering what is gif gif is a moving thing my profile picture is a gif panda. but anyways here is my Tane Mahuta forest

Today year 4 5 and 6's were meeting Colm again in the hall we made paper aeroplanes So guys maybe you could make a paper aeroplane  some people were flying we were also making rockets my group and I finished our two rockets it was very tiring but fun as well. we used cardboard a whiteboard marker a bottle and spell felts. My group and I made a good rocket, but you still do not know if it is gonna fly as good. So guys maybe you could make a paper aeroplane Bye hope you have a wonderful day.

Wonder project

Today my class (Adsett class) miller class and Paterson class went to the hall to meet Colm again  to learn how to see what bottle will fall down some people got chosen to pull a cloth under three bottles one empty one half filled with water and one completely full and I was a chosen student to do that on the first try all of them knocked over then on the second try I knocked the full bottle and the empty one Colm said it was fine because if it's full it will also get knocked over it had to much water but the most amazing thing was that a boy called Ha'unga in my class did not knock one bottle over everyone said " wow" (that was really cool to be honest). bye hope you enjoyed.

This week for the wonder project we test flied some rocket's at Kieth Hay Park, they went very high and I learnt that if you put to much water in the rocket that Colm made it will not fly up to the sky, it will probably o the loop the loop and fall. But before that Colm came in the hall and room 6,8 and room 9 watched some amazing videos about safety products like vest's and glasses. We watched a real rocket fly on YouTube, I wish that i was in a rocket and I went into space.
I wonder how It looks (in real life not on google search). I want to jump on the moon!!!  (who would not want on jump on the moon huh). bye guys have a nice day.

 My reflection

What did I enjoy most about this term? What I most enjoyed this term was the taekwondo that we did with Mrs Crossly. She is a very helpful teacher in taekwondo lessons. I wish I could go there right now, and Mrs Crossly if you are looking at this, I love the way you were teaching us. I love taekwondo.

What do I want to learn next term? What I want to learn next term is more about air pollution, so that I can post a poster on my blog and hope that people will look at it and stop littering and stop smoking and all that, because I bet people would not want to breathe in dirty air, and I don’t.

What’s something I want to improve on? What I want to improve on is my retelling of books and my xtramath, but I am kinda getting good at it, so in  the holidays I am going to be doing xtramath and of course reading.

What did I do really well in? What I did really well in was the art inspired by Sandy Adsett. I think I did really well on my art because I used lots of kuru's. When I did my first kuru I thought maybe I should do more so I did and

We should always pick up rubbish, do you know that the scientists have said that every year there is 800 000 tons of rubbish in the ocean if at least someone  picks up one piece of rubbish it would kind of help the whole world because some people will see you and copy  that is really good then maybe somebody will post it on youtube. People will watch and start cleaning the whole world. You should know if you pick up all the rubbish in a park that is your park in your heat when people come it’s just like your having a party So people get up and start cleaning now and stop throwing rubbish just throw it in the bin it’s not hard.
