Summer Learning Journey - Activity 63 - one is a snail ten is a crab - Step it up

Kia Ora Bloggers,

For this step it up activity we had to create a New Zealand version of the book one is snail and ten is crab. This was pretty confusing so I would not be surprised if I did it wrong. I hope I did not do it wrong. Me and my brother worked on this one together to make it easier for us.

Here is the slide:

Summer Learning Journey - Activity 62 - one is a snail ten is a crab - Kickstart

 Hey Bloggers,

For this activity we had to draw a Crab, Ant, Dog, Spider, Snail, Boy and Girl. It was very fun todo! I can't wait to finish this task so I can leave positive comments on everyone's blogs. I have done this activity on paper. I helped my brother out because as you might know my brother's finger is hurt.

Here is the drawings.

Summer Learning Journey - Activity 57 - Make an optical illusion

 Hey Bloggers,

We are experimenting with Nanogirl once again.  For this activity we had to create our own flip book as an optical illusion. An optical illusion is something your seeing that is not actually happening. I did this activity and helped and my brother helped as much as he could as he fractured his finger.

We created our flipbook about a donut. Sorry I could not make the video properly (It was really hard). I tried to make it move faster but in front of a screen I did not think you would be able to see so I showed you guys as much as possible.

Anyways here is the screencastify:

Have a great day!

Summer Learning Journey - Activity 55 - Build a boat - Kickstart

 Hey bloggers,

For this task we had to create a boat out of recycled objects. I used 2 Fizzy drink cans, 1 foam container, 1 Skewer and put it all together with tape. It is a very good floating object. It was medium size not to big not to small. I put it in a large bowl to float.

Here is the photo of it floating.

Have a nice day.

Stay Creative!

Summer Learning Journey - Activity 48 - Te Tirohanga Pūtahi - Step it up

 Kia Ora bloggers,

For this task it was to create a one perspective image. It was pretty hard as I was doing it on, google drawing. I decided to do it of the city just as the video showed us. Me and my brother just did this together as his laptop had a problem that my sister was fixing. Don't worry now it's fixed. Without anymore explanation I want to now share it with you.

Here it is:

Thank you for visiting my blog

Summer learning Journey - Activity 30 - A summery Saturday Morning - Kickstart

Kia Ora bloggers,

Yesterday me and my brother worked on the summer learning journey task. We had to create a Minecraft version of a book called a summery Saturday morning by Margret Mahi. It took us 3 hours to do! It was really fun at the same time kind of hard.

I think most people would not do this task as it take an extremely long time.
Here is the video:

Have a  nice day

Summer Learning Journey - Activity 24 - Found sound - Kickstart

 Hey bloggers,

For this activity we had to make sound using random objects. I used a pen, a Pokémon cards carton, a cup, 2 metal spoons, slime in a container and a packet of hooks. I took all my brothers 156 Pokémon cards out of it . Anyways I was kind of impressed since I thought that the beat was going to be way out of tune.

Here is the video:

As you might see my brother is also using this video on his blog too!

 Hi Bloggers,

I created a 40cm bridge which carried 2 candles, 1 container and 1 full water bottle. This activity only took a few minutes to do! As you guys can see I am trying my best to catch up. I am nearly there. I used 4 plastic cups and one 30cm ruler and a 15cm ruler.

Here is the screencastify I took:

Talofa Lava Bloggers,

We are doing something with science today. We had to create something that floats. I know a lot about how things float and sink. I want to share with you guys what I know about how things float and sink. I made a slide on this topic.

It took 8 rocks to sink!

Here is the slides:

Here is the video of my floating object:
