As you all know it is the last day of the summer Learning Journey and I am going to be doing some activity before 12am. For this activity we are making another snowball poem. It is a little bit different from my last one. This time we had to have a difference by a letter.

I hope you are having a wonderful day. If you are wondering why I have not done the colors in ink activity that was because it did not work because I don't have the right markers for this experiment. I skipped that activity so I can catch up with my other tasks. I have a question. When does the SLJ end?
For this task we had to create a snowball poem. For the kickstart activity we had to make a difference of each line by a word. I am going to now share with you my snowball poem.

Today I took the challenge of making my town. We had to include a lot of things onto our drawings which I managed to do. we had to include I did miss out a few things because it did not fit on the paper. It took me a while to do but I really liked the end result. I did this activity on paper. I did not add color because I have added shade to my art.

For this task we had to look around the house to see if we could find any objects or place that have a segment or ray, etc. I did three objects which were the window saw, a ruler and a H wood sign. I drew these objects on paper. I only did three because the step it up activity was going to take me a while to do.

Hey Bloggers,
As most of you bloggers who visit my blog know that I have completed so far all of the step it up and kickstart activities. I need to kind of catch up so you guys can check my blog regularly. Anyways for this activity we had to create a problem for you guys to solve. I did this activity on google slides so at the end once you guys have thought you got the answers you can go to the next slide to check if you were correct.

Today we were meant to create some little algebra problems. I used a cupcake and and a donut to represent the numbers. I really enjoyed this activity because it was not too complicated and did not take to much time. I am going to be doing the step it up activity soon.

For this activity we had to create a short video of the sounds in our garden. The time I took this video was at 1pm. I guess that at this time lot's of the nature sounds came out. I chose to point it toward the sky because if there was birds flying or butterflies they would be seen. If I made another summer sound recording I would definitely do it at a different time of the day and point the camera towards something more interesting.

We are back again with another step it up activity. I am so proud of myself of how far I have come during this summer learning Journey. I have so far done all the step it up and kickstart activities. For this task we had to create another 2 types of Kowhaiwhai. I created Mango pare and Nga Kaka. Nga Kaka is the them of nature during summer and Mango pare is themed during summer at the beach.

This task was in Maori which was hard to understand but I managed to translate it for myself. We had to create koiri and koru. I have drawn things similar so I really enjoyed this activity. I did this activity on paper. I used some coloring pencils to give it a tint of color. This is a traditional Maori artwork that is very unique and beautiful if I say so myself. I did not use summer colors on the first one because I found out after I made it. I did make the second one with summer colors.

I hope you guys had an amazing weekend. . For this activity we had to make a story board of the part where Aiden was embarrassed for everyone's reaction to what was inside his bag and how he could have reacted. We were also given some question to answer. We also could make a peice of something that wearable out of recycled items.
What was Aiden's reaction to seeing other look inside his bag - Positive/negative and why? Positive because they did not say anything or make fun.
What was the problem in the story? The problem in the story is that all the bags were the same and got mixed up while the children were doing P.E so they had to open the bags to see which bag is who's.
Is it okay to have the same thing or should everyone have different things? It is okay to have the same things but I personally think it is better to have unique things.

For this activity we had to read a story called nobody laughed. We were were given a few questions to answer. We also got to decorate a t-shirt and predict what was inside Aiden's bag. Now I will be answering the questions.
Why did everybody have the same bag? That is because everyone must have shopped at the big barn store.
Did the teacher do the right thing by opening the bags? I don't know because some children don't like sharing their secret things.
Is it okay to have the same things as other or should everyone have things that are different? It is okay to have the same things but I think it is much better to have different things as people can get muddled up with things etc.

For this step it up activity we were meant to create another ice art project but we had to use the rule of third and the rules of odds. We had to use the rule of third which is a photograph that has an equal grid of 3. This step it up task was very hard to understand. I used the best of my initiative to try get this activity right.

For this task we were meant to create ice art. I used a foam cup to crate it. I put a flower inside. This task was inspired by Evgeny Hontor a Russian ice artist. He creates ice art and people think he sculpts them. He has been drawing since child hood, He started studying sculpting in 2006. Now he create ice art.

Can you guys believe that people eat cicada's? We had to create a dish that includes cicada's. I used google drawing to do this task. Who here eats cicadas? I sure don't. I am going to tell you guys a little bit about this dish I have created.
It is a rice dish with shrimps, 2 sausages, Tomatoes & basil. Including Broccoli and some cicadas. It would take like a burrito with no tortilla and have an extra crunch. It would be weird in your mouth I think it would be salty. I would never like to try a cicada though.

This is another poetry slam activity! I really enjoyed making a clerihew poem. I found it very interesting. I used google drawing. I is about humpty dumpty. It was kind of challenging to find a name to use. I liked how the end result turned out. No I want to present to you all my clerihew poem!

We are back with another Nanogirl task! I made an xylophone and also filled up glasses with different amounts of water in each ones. I liked the sound that the glasses made. I could not hear the xylophone to well. I could hear the sound of both though. What is a sound? A sound is a vibration that wiggles the air molecules into our ears so we can hear it.

For this step it up task we had to create a digital version of our geometric art. This time I decided to make mine of a turtle this time. I used the tool polyline. This time I did not make it colorful. I hope you like it still. His name is Bobby. I chose this name cause it came to my head and it sound cute and silly.
